Board Endorsed courses can be completed in the HSC. However, these courses do not count towards the HSC.
Students completing courses with only ONE units, or have omitted a Board Endorsed course out of their 12 units have the opportunity to study these Board Endorsed courses.
Fairvale provides these courses, depending on demand. However it is recommended to trade a Board Endorsed course for a study/free period.

VET courses are akin to TAFE courses, where students complete study in the form of classroom activities and through relevant work experience.
Work experience is a core component of a VET course, with students placed in a practical workplace for one week - to be assessed by the employer of the workplace.
Students undertaking VET courses can complete courses of different certificate levels.
Fairvale High School offers VET courses for Year 11 and Year 12 students.
